— The Humane Society of York County is looking for loving owners and forever homes for the dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. Here are a few of the many loveable pets at the shelter:

Mercutio, a neutered Chihuahua, who is usually timid at first, doesn’t take long to warm up to nice people who just want to cuddle. He isn’t your typical Chihuahua.

Snickers, 8, is a neutered miniature Pinscher. He was adopted and happy but his owner had to move into assisted living.

Harley is a spayed tabby, approximately 7 years old and just stunning. She will capture your attention and heart.

The HSYC is offering a special deal: Adopt one cat or kitten for a $99 adoption fee, which includes spay/neuter service and up-to-date shots, and get a second for no extra charge.
