Fort Mill JV girls were perfect in 2014

The Fort Mill High School girls’ junior-varsity soccer team capped off a perfect 16-0 season in 2014 by winning the Irmo End of Season JV Tournament.

FORT MILL HIGH SCHOOL — FORT MILL HIGH SCHOOL

— The Fort Mill High School junior-varsity girls’ soccer team capped off a perfect 16-0 season in 2014 by winning the Irmo End of Season JV Tournament.

The JV Lady Jackets defeated Cardinal Newman 4-1 in the championship game on goals by Meredith Christopher (2), Erin Wolfe and Liza Denmeade. Kayla Dietz was named MVP as the top defender in the tournament.

The JV Lady Jackets beat Chapin 2-1, AC Flora 2-0 and River Bluff 1-0 on the way to the title.

Head coach Bryan Zulka’s team members are Rachael Stalford, Mallory Kovacs, Meredith Christopher, Madison Gallagher, Jaquel McCarthy, Catie Ellis, Erin Wolfe, Haley Davis, Eliza Denmeade, Corbett Davis, Sierra Patterson, Elizabeth Glowacki, Kayla Dietz, Marissa Carpintero, Emma McCarthy, Taylor Porcelli and Skye Jacobson.
