Grown-ups have a field day at Fort Mill fitness center

Special to The Fort Mill TimesJune 27, 2014

— PushPointe Indoor Cycling and Fitness Center is hosting a field day for grown-ups Aug. 2 to inspire residents to get fit, have fun with outdoor activities and raise money to support pediatric cancer patients.

“I know that summer is a crazy time to try to get active and get out, and I know it’s hot outside, but it’s actually the best time to get started,” coordinator Halle Hillman said.

The Aug. 2 event, which is part of the Cookies for Cancer campaign, is the second field day held by PushPointe. The first was held last week at the studio.

“You’ve got so many options,” Hillman said about PushPointe.

“We have all sorts of classes – barre, cycle, hang ten, anything you can think of. Also just go out and go run. Take your kids to the park. Anything to get active during the summer is awesome. Don’t waste it. Get out. Get active. It’s a beautiful day. It’s a beautiful thing to do.”

PushPointe is at 1741 Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill. To get more information about the next field day and Cookies for Cancer fundraiser, call 803-450-4223.
