Batchelor makes Panther dance squad
Courtney P. Batchelor, a resident of Fort Mill and a 2009 graduate of Nation Ford High School, has been selected as a member of the High Point University Panthers Dance Team.
A freshman at High Point, Batchelor is majoring in special education. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Arnold L. Batchelor Jr. of Fort Mill.
Free preschool Spanish lessons offered
Fort Mill Prep and Co-Operative Preschool will hold a free Spanish course for children ages 3 to 5. An adult must attend with the child.

Walnut Grove holds yard sale
Walnut Grove Christian School is accepting donations for its yard sale scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.
Items can be dropped off at the school, located at 13925 Erwin Rd., Charlotte (Off of Hwy. 49 between Hwy. 160 West and Carowinds Boulevard) until Thursday, Oct. 22. For a large load pick up request, call WGCS at 704-583-5499.
