A strong offensive line, anchored by right tackle Bryce Osborne, center Dakota Proctor and right guard Jay Eubanks, was able to keep the Longhorns' defense at bay. Running backs Tyler Causey and Nathan Lovette, along with wide receivers Bradley Bott and Beck Parrish, contributed on the offensive side for the Bears.

The Bears' defense was stout, allowing only six touchdowns all season.

They were led by Lovette at inside linebacker and defensive ends Sam Yarnes and Kevin Adkisson. The Bears finished the year with a 6-1 record and the first-ever Mighty Mite Championship.

Championship game results for the Leroy Springs and Tega Cay Small Fry and Mighty Mite divisions were not available at press time.
