The Jackets got off to a quick start scoring on their first possession. The score was set up by a 30-yard pass from Stephen Zoeller to Alex Kimbrell.

The second touchdown came in the second quarter and that was all the defense needed to preserve a win. After giving up one touchdown to the bulldogs in the second quarter the Jacket defense turned up the heat.

They did not let Gold Hill back in the end zone the rest of the night. There was strong offensive line play all night and tough running by Will Visbeck and Daniel Jackson.

A tenacious Fort Mill defense was led by Josh Driscoll and Will Visbeck.

Chambliss was hitting coach for the Class AAA International League's Richmond Braves last season.
