Christian Nichole Haire of Fort Mill and Brian Anthony Barfield Jr. of Indian Land were married June 28, 2008 at Springs Farm in Fort Mill.
Mrs. Barfield is the daughter of Cathy Poplin of Fort Mill, and the groom's parents are Brian and Maryanna Barfield of Indian Land.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Billy Haire. She wore a silk white gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, pickups on bottom with jewels, and a cathedral length train with a Princess head piece. She carried a bouquet of white lillies and coral roses with a single white rose in memory of their grandparents.
Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Kimmi Poplin, who wore a long summer coral dress with jewels on the back. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Tiffani Poplin, the bride's cousin, Averi Ashworth, and the wedded couple's friend, Emily McManus. They wore long summer coral dresses with jewels on the back.
Flower girl was Hannah McManus, friend of the wedded couple. Ring bearer was Caleb Haire, cousin of the bride.
The groom's father, Brian Barfield Sr., was best man. Ushers and groomsmen were Josh Barfield, brother of the groom, Daniel Gonzales, friend of the groom, Cory McManus, friend of the bride and groom, and Andy Purcell, friend of the groom.
The bride's mother wore a white summer dress with coral flowers. The groom's mother wore a gray summer dress with a cover-up. Outside decorations consisted of a wedding arch with greenery and white lillies and coral roses. A reception was held at Springs Farm.
The bride graduated from the S.C. School of Dog Grooming and is employed at Pleasant Road Day Care. The groom graduated from Indian Land High and is employed at Panthers Heating and Cooling.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple settled in Rock Hill.
