Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gerald Youmans of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Baker Youmans, to Matthew David Jennings, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wesley Jennings of Fort Mill.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is employed by U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.).
The groom-elect is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is employed by BP Barber and Associates.
The wedding will be held July 4, 2009, at the University of South Carolina's Rutledge Chapel in Columbia.
