Romano, Steele engaged
Geneva Louise Romano of Sunland, Calif., and Matthew Keith Steele of Charlotte will be married at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church. A wedding date has not yet been set.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Wendy Romano of Sunland. She graduated from Canoga Park High School in 2004 and is employed as a receptionist at the Raintree Country Club.
The groom-elect is the son of Libby Joy and Robert Steele of Charlotte. He graduated in 2004 from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte and is an independent contractor who works with local newspapers, including the Fort Mill Times and The Herald.
