Dana, Collier marry

Jennifer Amal Dana and Travis James Collier, both of Fort Mill, were married June 6, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Rock Hill.

The Rev. Barry Yates officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Hadi Dana and Donna Renkovish of Fort Mill. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Beulah Renkovish of Beckley, W. Va., and Amal Dana and the late Mounir Dana.

The bridegroom is the son of Jimmy and Christine Collier of Fort Mill. He is the grandson of Delores Collier and the late Jimmie “Pop” Collier of West Columbia and Mickey and Mary Ellen Bess of Conway.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a gown of Duchess Silk Satin with accents of silk chiffon by Maggie Sottero. She paired the gown with a pearl-edged cathedral length veil. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied Gerber daisies, lavender roses, calla lilies and cascading green dendros accented with pearls and crystals.

Maid of Honor was Sarah Marie Dana, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Collier, sister of the groom, of Fort Mill; Megan Collier, sister of the groom, of Fort Mill; Bonnie Cox of Raleigh, N.C.; Elizabeth Moses of Charleston; and Anna Thomas of Anderson.

Flower girls were Shelby Wilke of Fort Mill and Emily Tucker of Lexington.

Best man was Jimmy Collier, father of the groom, of Fort Mill.

Groomsmen were Matthew Dana, brother of the bride, of Fort Mill; Adam Beasley of Hendersonville, N,C.; Bradley Blanks of Fort Mill; and Justin Boykin of Columbia.

Ring Bearer was Austin Renkovish, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated in 2009 from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

The groom currently attends Winthrop University where he majors in physical education.

The reception was held at The Magnolia Room at Laurel Creek.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Costa Rica and settled in Fort Mill.
