Concert, ice cream at Crossroads
Crossroads Lutheran Church, 8511 Shelly Mullis Rd., Indian Land, will host a concert by Tyler Mitchell and ice cream social 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at the church. Tyler is an Indian Land High School junior and recipient of the 2009 Marilyn Meacham Price Scholarship to the Swananoa Gathering (a folk music event) in Asheville, N.C.
The church concert is open and free of charge to the community.
Also at, Crossroads Lutheran Church, a Bible Club for kindergartners to and including fifth graders is beginning. This is open to the community and free of charge.
The All Stars for Jesus program is comparable to Awana and Pioneer Programs, with extensive awards program for all participating children. Kickoff party for the Bible Club will be at the church 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30. The Bible Club begins its first meeting Sunday, Sept. 13. For further more information, call 984-6746.

A new seven-week newcomer's class called "Moving On After Moving In" will be held 10 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 14, at BacInTyme Coffee Cafe, 124 Confederate St., Fort Mill .
This Christ-centered study will help you in the process of letting go, starting over and moving ahead with your life after the transition of a move. Child care is not provided.

Revival at Carolinas Cornerstone
Carolinas Cornerstone Church will host a day of revival with the Kingdom Heart Ministries' Women's Revival Tour 2009 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. Kimberly Sowell of Kingdom Heart Ministries, 1790 Gardendale Rd., Tega Cay, will lead the day of prayer and worship. Sowell's high energy messages have inspired women to live for Christ.
