• Rock On with Rock Band, is for all rising sixth through 12-graders. 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at the Fort Mill Public Library. Explore your inner rock star with Wii's "Rock Band" and enjoy other video games.

• National Night Out, an anticrime campaign, will be hosted by the Tega Cay Police Department from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Tega Cay Beach and Swim Center. Activities include community watch information, law enforcement demonstrations and swimming along with food and beverages. Police will also visit neighborhood block parties. • Stuff the Bus, a fundraiser to help local students in need go back to school with all the supplies they need. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, to Saturday, Aug. 9, a bus will be parked at the Wal-Mart on Hwy. 160 West in Tega Cay. Bring donations of book bags filled with supplies to the bus. • The first Tega Cay Toys for Tots 5K Run, and One Mile Family Fun Run/Walk takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Turner Field. The event is sponsored by the city and Run Adventurz.
