Proceeds benefit Children's Attention Home, an emergency home for abused, neglected and abandoned children. Drop off gently used equipment at the Tega Cay administration building and other locations. • Open house, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Between Friends 407 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill. A Moonbounce will be available for children and refreshments will be served. • The first Tega Cay Toys for Tots 5K Run, and One Mile Family Fun Run/Walk takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Turner Field. The event is sponsored by the city and Run Adventurz. • Celebrate Van Wyck, at the community's 10th annual festival 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6. Live entertainment, crafts, games, food and more.
