After reading the “On my mind” column in the May 23 edition of the Fort Mill Times, I simply cannot restrain myself. “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” This openly biased attack by James Werrell on Mr. Romney makes my blood boil. For crying out loud, this supposed “crime” happened nearly 50 years ago.
A recent letter to the editor provided what amounted to be a dissertation regarding 98 reasons to save an old building located in the Lake Wylie area of York County. I write today to offer 295,658 reasons for the old building to have met its appropriate fate of being demolished.
There has been a lot of hype surrounding the decrease in troop levels in Iraq, but I can assure you that the soldiers who are still here are working diligently to assist and train the Iraqis, as we move from combat operations to stability operations.
