  • Support for trauma, abuse victims available

    A one-hour Trauma and Abuse Recovery Group hosted by the Center for Restoration in Fort Mill, will meet for eight weeks every Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. May 24. Gain understanding, share and heal in a safe group context.

  • The Indian Land Republican club is hosting a District 7 County Council debate at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Del Webb Library.

  • The Colonel William Bratton Chapter of the South Carolina Society Sons of the American Revolution will host historian Bill Anderson 9:45 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Fort Mill Library in Baxter.

  • The Tega Cay Lions Club will be taking orders for jumbo Vidalia onions from Georgia. The onions will be $11 for a 10-pound bag. All proceeds from sale will go to the Lions charities.

  • New Cub pack, Scout troop forming in Fort Mill

    A new Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop is forming in Fort Mill. St. John’s UMC is the chartering organization and meetings are at 6:30 p.m. for Cub Scouts and 7 p.m. for Boy scouts, Wednesday nights in the Family Life Center at St John’s UMC.
