Fort Mill boys, girls both fall to Gaffney

After getting beat by Fort Mill at their place, the Gaffney High Indians got some revenge Friday by beating Fort Mill on its own court, 71-66.
The Indians (18-2, 6-1 Region 3-AAAA) had a big second half by Dershawn Dawkins, as he led Gaffney with 19 points, and Chase Smith, who had 14 points.
Also Friday, in girls hoops action, Fort Mill lost to Gaffney 46-40

Jackets take half of Region 3-AAAA titles; Fort Mill’s entire squad will compete for individual S.C. crowns

After winning its fifth straight Region 3-AAAA title this season, the Fort Mill High wrestlers took half of the individual titles in the Region 3-AAAA tournament Thursday.

Fort Mill won seven of the 14 weight class titles with each school in the region taking at least one titled in the tournament. York was second crowing three individual champions. Nation Ford, Clover, Gaffney and Northwestern schools all had one region title winner.
